I am an artisan storyteller and a true creative.
In spite of the twists and turns of life, I have always known I would be an author and a minister. My two lifelong dreams have been to be a biographer and a missionary.
In 2014 I founded The Charming Artist, where I sell my paintings and other artwork. I began using art in my speaking in 2019, based on the idea that a story can be told with any appropriate medium, not just words. Whether I use comedy, music, poetry, or visual art, I enjoy bring both entertainment and inspiration to my audience.
I published my first memoir, Peaceful Heart, Healthy Body, in 2019. I also founded my first Facebook group, Liberating the Voice of the Woman, to give women a safe place to use the arts to express things they have been silenced into not sharing with family and loved ones. My passion is to help women find their creative voice so they can receive healing from chronic pain brought on by past trauma.
In March 2020 I officially launched Peaceful Heart Coaching to provide one-on-one support to women who want specialized help and care in telling their stories.
I live in Snellville, Georgia with my husband, daughter, and two grandchildren. I enjoy reading, knitting, and quiet off-season vacations.
