The question is why. Why do all these methods that seem to help others fail to offer the chronic sufferer any lasting relief?

There is one method that has proven time after time to offer the relief you need when no other treatment can: drawing on the power of story.

My Personal Journey

I have personally experienced physical healing three times after I told specific parts of my own story to someone. It wasn’t always a counselor. As you can read in my book, Peaceful Heart, Healthy Body, once it was to a pastor and a second time it was to God in prayer and friends. A  third  time,  not  in  the  book,  I  experienced  healing  after  one  session  with  a  pastoral  counselor.
